From a small rural town to Grammy win and working with a local news channel, follow the incredible journey of Matthew Scott, the "church boy" who made it big.
Independent filmmaker,Aspiring Photo-Journalist, TSU Alumni, Former Member of the Grammy Award winning Aristocrat of Bands.
23 year old proud father of a 3 year old boy. Graduated from Gallatin High School as a member of the National Honors society among other accomplishment. Attended TSU from the years of 2019-2024 graduating with a Bachelor of the Arts with a focus on Mass Communications. While in school I was a member of the AOB and played on the Grammy Award winning album as a member of the band. I also served for a short time on the Aristocrat of Bands Media specializing on short form videos and interviews. Before completing my degree I was a volunteer with the International Black Film Festival, an intern for the Nashville Film Festival, and a video graph intern for the Tennessee Lottery's advertising and marketing department. I now work at Newschannel 5 WTVF as a video editor for the morning shows. I am currently shadowing the photographers at the station to gain experience to transition to a Photo Journalist role. I am also currently directing my first full length documentary film.
