I am a multifaceted fashion forward individual whose life journey reflects resilience, creativity, and dedication to community. As the oldest of six siblings, I embraced leadership and responsibility from an early age. I have faced personal challenges, including, demossion widowhood and overcoming substance misuse. This transformative experience inspired me to found Recovery For You, a nonprofit organization focused on Holistic substance misuse prevention and support.
My passion for movement and expression shines through as a dance instructor for an after-school program at Pruitt Library and as an active member of the ballroom community, specializing in the powerful art of voguing. As a wellness coach at the YMCA, I promote holistic health and empowerment.
Music is another vital part of my life, with a versatile singing talent spanning all genres and a special passion for gospel music. I contribute to the Nashville Community Gospel Choir and Roaring Voices Assemble at American Baptist College, using music to uplift and connect.
Committed to cultural pride, expression of freedoms, mental health advocacy, and community service, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work to deepen my impact on those around me. My story is one of overcoming adversity, inspiring others, and living authentically through transparency and vulnerability.
